2. How we use it

3. Legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases (where applicable in your jurisdiction): performance of a contract (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors - hosting, database, analytics, AI model providers, and email delivery vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Paddle - our Merchant of Record, which handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers - such as legal and accounting advisers, where necessary.

5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) to protect that data.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. Account and business data is kept while your account is active; chat and event data is retained for a limited period for analytics and security and then deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support channel in your account.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures - including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging - to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials safe.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and to remember anonymous visitor identifiers for chat sessions. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product.
